The Tree Council, NZ Arboricultural Association and Greenscene Ltd have produced a response to statements made by the government and its MPs in the lead up to the passing of the recent legislation restricting the type of urban tree protection measures that can be used.  

We have not been able to get all the data required from local authorities in the Auckland region. 

We are also working on strategies to take this forward.  We will update this site when further information becomes available.
